Enjoyed reading this. Well done and I mostly agree with the selections, but I differ with you on the first I Know What You Did Last Summer installment. Jennifer Love Hewitt’s perfect boobs carry that film. Worth watching over and over again in my opinion.

Nice list. Sean Connery has to be honorable mention. I saw a special on him on the Bio Ch. the other day. On his first movie set, he was rumored to be involved in the main dame. Turns out she was dating a big-time American mobster, who then showed up on the set with a gun threatening Connery. Well, the future 007 knocked the fucker out right there on the spot.

No way this is a sport. End of.

And one difference between this crap and boxing is that a boxer can end a fight early by knocking the other man out. When ice dancers can start doing the same thing, I’ll watch.

The Sportscenter argument is hairy — according to them watching Jessica Simpson in a pink Romo jersey is a sport.

I think the best point you made was about a boxing match being judged. Glad it inspired you. (Oh, and Ice dancing is def not a sport).

In figure skating and the other stuff at the olympics you dont score points. you just do your thing and hope a judge gives you credit. in basketball which is a sport you score your own points and you determine the winner.
