New England Revolution keeper Matt Reis was featured on a Fox Soccer Channel quick-hits segment where the host asks athletes either-or questions in rapid fire. Well, Saturday’s segment asked which teams the players would rather play against. When asked about playing either Inter or AC Milan, well, ol’ Matt replied: “AC Milan. I hear it’s nice this time of year.”
Well, Matt probably picked the better team, but his reason was, well, a little idiotic. You see, Inter is short for Internazionale Milano … or Inter Milan for the English-speaking world. So, Inter and AC Milan actually play their home games in the same Italian city. Picking to play one or the other based on weather … well … DOH!
